SYSTEM OF A DOWN 'TOXICITY' LP

vinyl LP pressing “Chop Suey!” is the smash single, of course, and what a song it is: schizoid, spastic, surreal and yet inescapably catchy. It’s the perfect encapsulation of System of a Down’s genius, and Toxicity is the same on a larger level: the definitive statement from an impossibly unique and inventive band. The landmark System Of A Down ‘Toxicity’ LP turns 20 in September, but free-wheeling, wide-ranging cuts like “Prison Song,” “Deer Dance,” “Aerials” and the title track ring as powerfully now as in 2001.
