Answers are anonymous in the data: responses carry a per-device token that matches no participant record. The redemption code stays valid for the life of the pass: calling redeem_pass again with the same code returns the existing room, its URLs and its session key rather than opening a second one, so the code is the only state a buyer or an agent needs to keep.
