Tsap - Flickering Lyghte In Campsite LP

Latest dark low-BPM techno offering from the duo of Cooper Bowman (Altered States honcho) and Chris Colla (Orion, The No), is a slight step away from the industrial and sample-heavy offerings of last year’s “Deceptions of Mechanised Worship.” This LP is probably best summed up by Nick Blinko’s killer album cover, but if I’ve gotta do it in words.... Swirling and tightly wound syncopated rhythmic drum machines and synths that flicker about in dark atmospherics with the occasional murky vocal. The kind of album that to my ear swerves around the DAW building block approach of so much techno or the paranoid jitters and self-conscious distractions of “how do I make this interesting?” Instead, it’s considered, crisp, and immersive! -Mitch Artwork by Nick Blinko and Yuta Matsumura.
